![]() I think the key thing is she'll idle but die as soon as u tap the throttle. If the motor will only start with the use of starting fluid, this suggests you may have a fuel supply problem such as faulty or dirty fuel injectors. im also thinking it could be out of adjustment but again ive been reading that it would still start up. ![]() does that mean its shot tho or is it just the seal? i dont think that would prevent the **** from running. i feel like maybe the cas is faulty (its covered in grease from the o ring). the gas in the car is currently ~4 four days old from the pump (87 oct). What i dont get is that it drove me home then just died, the fuel pump is pumping, nothing seems to be clogged, i unbolted the fpr from the rail n fuel squirted out. if u tapped the throttle it would just die. the timing belt was done before i bought it and it looks pretty healthy, but i only went as far as to remove the valve cover n the lil face under it.Īt times its able to idle, but usually needs to be sprayed w starting fluid.
